Grants Of Australia: The Way To Healthy Oral Care

In our society, healthy eating and living is a huge part of our lives, however, we tend to forget the importance of using household and beauty products that are not harmful and free of nasty chemicals. I am definitely a culprit, going for products that smell good and do the jobs they need to do, rather than reading the ingredients and whether they are really safe to use. IMG_0716

Moving towards using organic and natural products in my everyday life, the one product I did not think about changing was my toothpaste. Doing research on the ingredients in my ‘usual’ toothpaste, I came to the realisation that the ingredients are in fact toxic and causing more harm than good.

Recently I was lucky enough to come across a brand that I wish I had known about a long time ago. Established in 1984, Grants of Australia seems to have all the answers to what I (and I am sure many people) have been searching for. With a range of oral care products including toothpastes, toothbrushes, and mouthwashes for adults and children, Grants of Australia have carefully created a range that ticks all the boxes that we should all be looking for in oral care products.

This family-owned business has created a brand that is perfect for the whole family, that cleans effectively and protects naturally.

So what makes the Grants of Australia toothpaste different from others on the market? Besides being Australian owned and made, the children and adult toothpastes are made from natural ingredients that are completely free from nasties. When I say nasties, I mean no fluoride, no parabens, no artificial colours or flavours, no preservatives, no sugar and no sulphates. Can you believe that many of these are found in other toothpaste brands?!

So the question I had was, ‘if this toothpaste doesn’t have all the nasty chemicals of other toothpastes, how can chemical free toothpaste clean your teeth the same way?’ Grants of Australia explains that the ingredient ‘mint helps reduce plaque, dental cavities and reduce inflammation associated with gingivitis.’ If something so natural can help with these oral issues that many of us face, then using a natural toothpaste is definitely something to consider.

The Grants of Australia toothpaste range include:

  • Mild Mint Toothpaste
  • Propolis Toothpaste
  • Fresh Mint Toothpaste
  • Blueberry Burst Kids Natural Toothpaste
  • Strawberry Surprise Kids Natural Toothpaste

To coincide with a great toothpaste, you need a great toothbrush. For the first time I have used a bamboo toothbrush, and I can say, I won’t be going back to the common plastic styles. Not only did it feel comfortable to hold, it certainly did the job cleaning my teeth with ease. Made from biodegradable bamboo, Grants of Australia have created an eco-friendly toothbrush that is also BPA free. With children and adult sizes available, the whole family can help the environment by using products that are eco-friendly and recyclable.

I have definitely made my switch and have started to take more care in the products I use for myself and in my household. Along with flossing and regularly visiting the dentist, Grants of Australia have been included in mine and my family’s everyday oral care.
