When I see a car park with an image of a pram, I automatically think they are designated for parents who need to use a pram for their child. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Today Isaac and I went to the shops and the first place I looked for a car spot was in the area designated for parents with prams. The car in front of me took the last ‘parents with prams’ car park but I was not convinced she should have taken it.
So I decided to wait and see who jumped out of the car.
Two ladies with a young child came out of the car however no pram! The child was about 4 years old and was not put in a pram. Instead, the little boy walked with the two ladies into the shopping center!
Forgive me if I am wrong, but I felt that the car park with an image with a pram should be for parents who have smaller children and need to use a pram. Thanks to this lady I had to park far away as the car park was extremely busy.
I don’t mean to sound like a princess. I am sure there were plenty of other parents that had to park in other car spots too, but sometimes I think people should think about whether they should be parking in those designated spaces.
Do you think the lady with a four year old should use the ‘parents with prams’ car spaces if the child is not placed in a pram? I would love your opinion on this debate!
